Cancellation Policy
10+ days prior to charter date:
The charterer may cancel their charter at no cost up to 10 days prior to the scheduled date. The deposit will be refunded in full minus credit card processing fees.

<10 days prior to the charter date:
If the charterer is unable to reschedule their charter, the charterer will forfeit their deposit.

Rescheduling Policy
10+ days prior to the charter date:
No fee to reschedule

5-10 days prior to the scheduled date:
10% rescheduling fee applies
​
2-4 days prior to the scheduled date:
25% rescheduling fee applies
​
<48 hours prior to the scheduled date:
50% rescheduling fee applies

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the charterer can reschedule their charter at no cost if the forecast calls for >40% of rain, heavy winds, or lightning during the hours of the charter. If we cannot find a date that works for your group, we will gladly issue a full refund minus credit card processing fees.

Guest Limit
Your party can include up to 6 guests, including children. This limit is set by the U.S. Coast Guard and strictly enforced.

Life Jackets
Children 12 and under are required to wear life jackets per U.S. Coast Guard regulations. Life jackets are available in multiple sizes and are provided for all guests.

Food & Beverages
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, including alcohol. Bottled water and ice are included with your charter.

Footwear
Shoes with non-marking soles are permitted, however, no shoes are preferred.

Coolers
Soft coolers are permitted on the vessel. Hard coolers are not permitted because they can damage the deck when moved. WINDSWEPT has a large onboard refrigerator and a YETI soft cooler.

Accessibility
The vessel is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be physically able to step on and off the launch boat. If you are generally unable to walk up and down short flights of stairs, this experience is not recommended for you.

Payment Terms
A deposit is collected at the time of booking. The balance is due at the end of the charter. Balances can be paid via Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or credit card.

Smoking & Drug Policy
The use of illegal substances is forbidden onboard the vessel. Smoking is not allowed. The underage use of alcohol and tobacco is not permitted. Violating any of these rules will result in early termination of the charter. Windward Sailing Charters, at its sole discretion, can decide to end any charter early if a guest or guests become intoxicated to the point of becoming a hazard to themselves or others. Refunds will not be issued under these circumstances.

By providing your mobile phone number, the charterer agrees to receive text messages at the number provided, sent using our automated system. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
